How to Renew Tally TSS Online: Step-by-Step
Updated October 2026 ยท by cSoft Solutions, Certified Tally Partner, Chennai
Renewing your Tally Software Services (TSS) online is quick โ about two minutes once you have your serial number. Here's exactly how, what you'll need, and what happens after you pay.
Before you start: what you need
- Your Tally serial number โ a 9-digit number. Open TallyPrime, press F1 > About to see it, or check any old invoice from us.
- A payment method โ UPI, debit/credit card, or netbanking.
- Your license type โ Silver, Gold or Auditor (this decides the renewal price).
Step 1 โ Choose your TSS plan
Go to our TSS Renewal page and pick the plan matching your license: Silver (โน4,500), Gold (โน13,500) or Auditor (โน6,750) โ all plus 18% GST. Renewing for 2 years together saves you 10%.
Step 2 โ Enter your details at checkout
Add the plan to cart and proceed to checkout. Enter your name, phone, email, and your Tally serial number in the field provided (this is how we match the renewal to your license). Add GSTIN if you want it on the invoice.
Step 3 โ Pay securely
Pay by UPI, card or netbanking through the secure Razorpay checkout. Your payment is encrypted and you get instant confirmation.
Step 4 โ Activation & invoice
Our team activates the renewal against your serial number โ usually the same working day โ and emails your GST invoice. Once active, open TallyPrime and your updates, e-Invoice, e-Way Bill, remote access and banking services resume automatically.
Common questions
What if I don't know my serial number?
Open TallyPrime and press F1 > About โ it's shown there. Still stuck? Send us your business name and we'll look it up from our records.
My TSS already expired โ can I still renew?
Yes, any time. Your Tally never stops working; renewing simply restores the updates and connected services. There's no penalty for renewing late โ though renewing before expiry means you don't lose any days.
Should I renew for 1 year or 2?
If Tally is core to your business, 2 years saves 10% and removes next year's renewal reminder. See our renewal charges guide for the full comparison.
